You can prepare many variations of this...eliminate, substitute, or add to your heart's content...Just enjoy enjoy enjoy! I used water kefir and young Thai coconut (water and meat), but you can use almond milk or any nut milk you enjoy.
Lime in de Coconut Smoothie (for 2)
1 young Thai coconut (water and meat) or almond milk base.
Add water as needed (coconut water amount can vary)
1 mango
1-2 bananas, frozen
1/4 cup dried coconut
2 dates, pitted and chopped
5+ kale leaves
2 teaspoons lime juice (or more if desired)
2 Tablespoons chia seeds
Optional Ingredients
1 Tablespoon ground flax seed
2 drops Medicine Flower Coconut extract
1 drop Medicine Flower Rum extract
ice, as desired
Directions
Blend your base milk, mango and frozen bananas.
Add coconut, dates and kale. Blend until creamy.
Add remaining ingredients and ice cubes and blend until desired consistency. (Adding water to thin, as needed).
Enjoy!
Note: Using Medicine Flower extracts adds depth of flavor and variety, however, they are totally optional!
