One of my favorite smoothies... that is not chocolate. I used both raw pistachios and pistachio butter in a coconut milk base. Deeeeeelicious! You could also do this in a nut milk or hemp milk base. The Living Tree Community Pistachio Nut Butter is AMAZING!!!
Pistachio Smoothie Ingredients:
1 young Thai Coconut (water and meat)
1/12 to 1 cup filtereed water - as needed
1/4 cup pistachios
2 frozen bananas
1/4 Tablespoon chia seeds
1 Tablespoon hemp seeds.
6 kale leaves, (stems removed)
2 Tablespoons Living Tree Community Pistachio Butter (optional)
2 medjool dates
Optional: Add 1 teaspoon Spirulina or Green Powder,
Directions:
Blend coconut water and meat until creamy. Add remaining ingredients, and blend.
