Super Green Ginger Snap Smoothie

For something a little different, I created this Ginger Snap Smoothie.

I honestly can't say its my all time favorite, but it's very tasty and W seemed to REALLY liked it a lot, and it was a nice change.

Super Green Ginger Snap Smoothie
Ingredients:
1 young Thai coconut (water and meat) or 2 cups almond milk
1 fist full of dandelion or kale
filtered water, as needed for volume
2 bananas, preferably frozen
2 Tablespoons hemp seeds
2 Tablespoons chia seeds
1 Tablespoon lucuma powder (optional)
vanilla extract (4 drops *Medicine Flower or 1 1/4 teaspoon liquid)
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg, ground
2 Tablespoons grated ginger
1 Tablespoon Spirulina Powder (optional)
ice cubes

Directions:
Blend coconut water and meat until creamy.
Add frozen bananas.
Add remaining ingredients and blend.

  1. You got my attention with "ginger snap!" I love spirulina and adore gingery anything.

Again, I imagine irish moss would sub out just fine for the bananas, since those aren't liking my tummy right now...
