As some of you know, when I tried to juice a year ago, due to my health issues, I ended up with some negative reactions. My holistic physician suggested I abstain from it for awhile. For one year, I avoided juicing and opted to stick with green smoothies. It worked, and I'm so glad I decided to be patient and trust my practitioner, and am now able to handle juicing several times a week without any ill side effects. For the most part, I still enjoy my green smoothies, but a few times a week, I experiment with juicing. The blank plate that I purchased to go with my Champion juicer, enables me to make delicious and amazingly creamy "ice cream" and nut butter. (see pics below). I love adding new things to my daily palette.
This is a light and refreshing juice..
Single Serving
Juice Ingredients:
1 large cucumber
1 champagne mango
2 small apples
1 chunk of ginger
Juice and enjoy!
Using the blank plate I created this magnificent papaya-banana swirl "ice cream. OH MY GOODNESS!
...and then I made this absolutely astounding almond butter, adding a touch of raw honey and pinch of sea salt. It was gone gone gone within minutes....so good!

Wow, love the photographs here. If only I'd known I could do that when I had my Champion Juicer. It came with a blank slate as well. *sigh* Live and learn. Keep up the great work!

Thank you both! Ahh..Kitchen Shaman you gave it away??? So sorry. I am having such a blast with it!! Chore to clean it up, but worth it!!! LOVE YOUR SITE!
Wow, I've never tried to make nut butter with my juicer, but I'm sure going to now. I usually use a different appliance for thicker things, and then have to contend with the pulp. I'm always looking for new recipes to try and your site is a treasure trove.
