Cinnamon Walnut Crunch
2cups walnuts, soaked overnight
3 bananas
3 Tbsp maple syrup
3 dates, pitted and chopped
pinch of sea salt
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1 Tbsp chia seeds, ground
2 to 3 Tbsp shredded dried coconut (optional)
1/4 tsp cinnamon
pinch of ground nutmeg (optional)
Spread on non stick sheet dehydrator tray, sprinkle with additional cinnamon, if desired. Add nutmeg, if you like a little spice.
Dehydrate several hours at 110 degrees. Flip over..and continue to dehydrate about 8 hours or longer.
As it gets close to being totally dry and crunchy, I rip it into bit sized pieces and dehydrate another hour or so. Store in an airtight container. ENJOY!

Sounds so good--I know my husband would adore these.
I bet it would make a great topping for raw yogurt, or at the moister end, a great filling for cinnamon rolls also. Like you said, so many possibilities...
sounds both delicious and versatile
Just made this yesterday and its nearly all gone!!
made a few dietary alterations, like using apples instead of bananas and oh wow oh wow!
