Expo Fun

Yesterday we participated in the Living Dynamically Wellness Expo in Exton, Pa. It was a lovely event with a very nice turn out, considering it was the Expos' first year. There was a good mix of people and about 50+ vendors. I was surprised at how many raw food vendors were available.

We received excellent feedback on our cookies and had quite a selection to choose from. Selection included: Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Chocolate Chip, Pecan Cinnamon & Spice, Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip, Black Forest Chocolate Chip, Oatmeal Raisin, Mint Chocolate Chocolate Chip and Maple Walnut. We also had bite sized pieces of Banana Nut Bread and Rawfully Tempting's famous Ultimate Fudge Brownies.

Rawfully Tempting Chocolate Covered Kale Chips
We got rave reviews on our two new products, Chocolate Nut Butter Covered Kale Chips and Zippy Veggie Crisps. The Chocolate Nut Butter covered Kale Chips took everyone by surprise and it was a joy to see their expressions as they bit into these crunchy treats and the kids could not get enough of them! To see our full line, check out RT's Online Cafe.

Rawfully Tempting Zippy Veggie Crisps
I'm still amazed myself at the intensity of flavor in our Zippy Veggie Crisps. They are amazing! Place one of these light, airy crisps on the tip of your tongue, and the flavor EXPLODES in your mouth! I am not particularly fond of most of the flax cracker recipes I've tried and wanted to come up with a satisfying, crunchy snack. Zippy Veggie Crisps seemed to be very well received. I also added a "Mixed Bag" which contained the Original Zippy Veggie Crisps, along with Not-So Zippy and Caraway. No one really seemed to have a preference for one over the other, but enjoyed the variety of flavors, so we'll be adding the variety pack to our product list.

All in all, it was a great day and everyone seemed to have a ton of fun. I finally met Brad, from Brad's Raw Chips and connected with some other fabulous people. Lisa Montgomery, Linda and the Waterloo Garden staff did a fabulous job! I wanted to take a moment to thank all of you who showed your support and came out for the event, and the many beautiful people that sent me such amazing good wishes for this event. God Bless!

  3. How cool that you did this! Way to take your creativity out there to the universe. I love those kinds of events and it sounds like you had a good experience. Exciting how raw food companies are taking off, and how they seem to be flagships for the sort of 'cottage industry' enterprise that should probably be the shape of the future.

The chocolate kale chips sound just wonderful--I often think that kale has a slightly chocolatey taste just by itself, so making chocolatey kale is bound to be a winner.
