Am curious was the second soak water as vibrant as the first? Would you have held the first to mix with the second if not?
Thanks Karen
The second soak was not as strong as the first, but I'd rather drink the first one fresh, then hold it a day to mix. It doesn't look weak, just not as bright as yesterday. But it's all good!
Interesting - purple water? Oh well. we learn everyday, Welcome to the foodie blogroll!
Thanks kitchen butterfly. Purple corn has 3 times more antioxidants than blueberries do. I just discovered this recently when I bought purple corn to make corn chips. I had to soak the corn...and the water turns a lovely shade of magenta, so I started reading up on it, only to find that the water is really good for you too!
