I made this for a potluck dinner that we're going to Sunday afternoon. W brought me home two new 5" spring form pans the other day and I finally got to use them. Yay..a cake that's not too lopsided!!
Prying the cake off the bottom of the pan was tricky, but one good thing about raw desserts is they are pretty "moldable." I made my first layer cake for W's birthday last year using a different batter and icing.
Double a luscious Chocolate Fudge Cake batter, similar to Fabulous and Fugdey Gourmet Brownies).
Added to this mixture is raw cacao butter and a touch of cacao paste making this a totally decadent dessert.
Insert a tasty Raspberry Filling, and top with my Magnificent Chocolate Ganache. Garnish with bananas or chopped walnuts, and you have an exquisite dessert!
